01 The Bookworm Beginnings
Once upon a time, I was the Twilight-obsessed, Hunger Game theorizing reader who thought nothing was better than a bookstore run and a night spent devouring a new fantasy or romance book. Books were my personality, and I wore that badge proudly.
Then college hit. My TBR turned into chemistry textbooks (yep I was/still am a nerd), my late night binge-reads became late night study marathons, and somewhere between exams and equations, my love for reading disappeared into the void.
02 The Plot Twist (aka, Life Happened)
In 2021, my husband deployed, I had my first kiddo, and life was A LOT. Somewhere in the chaos, I picked up a book again. And then another. And then suddenly, I was back to that middle school version of me the one who lived for the feels, the book boyfriends, and the total obsession that only a good book can bring. Books became my emotional lifeline, helping me through postpartum depression and giving me something just for me again.
03 The Science Teacher Arc
Plot twist: I wasn’t always a book marketer. I spent five years as a high school physics teacher, geeking out over equations and classroom experiments (yes, I was the one making things explode for fun). But deep down, I knew teaching wasn’t my forever.
So, I left.
04 The Pivot: From Science to Social Media
With teaching behind me, I leaned into creativity—first through photography, then social media management. I built a business helping women-owned small businesses grow online, and I loved the mix of strategy + creativity. But then something happened…
I joined BookTok just for fun. And suddenly, I was home.
05 Burning It All Down (for Books, Obviously)
The more time I spent in the bookish community, the more I realized how many incredible indie authors were out there struggling to get their books seen. Not because their books weren’t amazing (they were). But because marketing felt overwhelming, frustrating, and so not fun.
That’s when I knew—I had to do something about it.
So, I did what any slightly unhinged dream chaser would do: I burned down my old business and built something brand new, completely focused on helping indie authors and bookish creators thrive.
06 The Happily Ever After (aka, Where You Come In)
Now, I spend my days helping indie romance & fantasy authors get their books into the hands of the readers who will scream, cry, and completely spiral over them. Whether it’s through social media strategy, PR, influencer outreach, or just knowing what actually works, I make sure your book gets the hype it deserves.
Because your book isn’t just a little writing account, it’s a world, a story, a dream. And I’m here to help you share it with the people who need it most.
So, what do you say? Ready to make your book the book?
